A renovation completed in 2002 freshened the upscale look with fine architectural materials and understated color schemes. Amenity highlights: A large outdoor pool (main-building area) is popular for swimming, sunbathing, and alfresco dining. A second, smaller poollocated across the gardens, offers extra privacy. The state-of-the-art sound studio with commercial recording capability may be reserved for rental by the day, week, or longer. Insider tip: Not to be confused with the infamous Whiskey A Go Go on Sunset Strip, The Whiskey Barlocated off the hotels main lobbyis a private hideway and celebrity hotspot. This small, dimly lit bar and outdoor heated courtyard is reserved exclusively for hotel guests and invited regulars. Some guests stay here just to hang out at the bar.
